This project was my first try at designing anything using illustrator, so it was especially exciting for me.
We were given a Lab Name within ATLAS and a decade theme to work into the sticker design

I started with researching creating two mood boards

I then ideated based on the mood boards. I came up with ~ 15 rough sketches of some ideas for the sticker design.
Then I developed my favorite couple ideas a little further on paper
I saw a lot of potential for the boombox and cassette shape for the sticker.
The fun part was using illustrator to build the design and play around with 80's color pallets, patterns, and integrating a "lab" vibe to the design, including the lab name.
Ultimately I came up with two versions of a cassette-design for the sticker that I had a hard time choosing between
